Good evening! I wanted to update you on a couple of things. The Book Fair is next month. In preparation for that, a flyer was sent home today. In two weeks, the students will visit the fair to make their wish list. The following week they will go to shop. I also sent home a few flyers for the book order. Feel free to send in an order! Remember that we do not have school next Wednesday, November 1st. Our Halloween party is next Tuesday along with the costume parade. Fourth grade will be doing the wax museum, so the other classes will move through our rooms to see our students dressed up. The parade begins at 1:00. Good afternoon! Recently, we've been reading a lot about motion, energy, friction, and forces. Today we started compiling that information into books! Students are in groups of three to write informational books about force, motion, gravity, and friction. Their book will include a table of contents, illustrations, captions, and a glossary. On Friday, we will take our books to Mrs. Freeland's class and share them with her students. Here are some pictures from our work today; Just a reminder that we have a spelling test tomorrow. Have a great day! Mr. Wissner

To use our learning, we created some chain reactions. Here are a few pictures from our investigation: Finally, we worked on writing with descriptive language yesterday. We used rich words to describe all things fall. Then, we painted a fall tree. Here are a few pictures from that: I hope you all have a great weekend! Remember, Monday is a delayed start and Tuesday is their next spelling test. See you next week! Mr. Wissner
